RT, I use waterbased paint for the design and urethane enamel clearcoat, then buffed and polished.. Looks much better in person.

It may not be as eye catching as that cool skull helmet that I would love to have. But the vinyl decals drastically change the look up my helmet for a very cheap price. Further, they are quick to apply, durable, and I can change the looks whenever I want to with very little effort and very little time and money. I can have the decals and stripes made for anyone else who is interested. This is all that fits in my budget for the time being but I got my eye on that baaaadd skull when I strike it rich! sweetdaddydelicious@hotmail.com Please drop me a line and let me know what you think. |

Spidy, I just happen to have a spare can of "wup ass". Come git some! Seriously though. 40KB is more than enough space for a good quality pic on the web. Are you using the xat.com jpeg optimizer? Example 640x480 pixel photo at 41KB...

Oh, and it's not so much "loading time" with which we are concerned; more the cost of disk space and bandwidth on the server. It ain't free ya know. I am toying with the idea of integrating the xat.com image optimizer into the picture upload process. That would really facilitate sharing of photos. |

Vik, Heheh, nah, she's lucky if she measures 5'-6". I was squating a bit to keep from cutting my noggin off in the pic. Peter, No mate; she's my beloved wife. The photo shows our happy reunion, she being freshly awakened at 6 AM upon my return from NY/NJ last summer. Border Collie is my best buddy, Roger. |

Ah, I also fell for the 6' idea and thought you must be related. Then I was going to ask when I could meet her, but as she's your wife, I'll leave that remark alone PPiA |

Blake, Any thought given to allowing users to choose whether to download HTML's(smiley's ) and pic's? Reason being, I am on a bandwidth restiction and the dial-up is slow. Just a thought, Andrew |

Andrew, Good news! You can specifiy that in your browser's setup. In MSIE's toolbar, click on "Tools" then "Internet Options...", then on the "Advanced" tab. Page down to the "Multimedia" section and uncheck the "Show Pictures" option along with any other web "media" offerings you would like to curtail. You can view undisplayed pictures by right cllicking on the place marker and selecting "Show Picture". If you use Netscrape, I cannot help you, but I'm sure it has similar options. |

So NJ requires 4 sq. inches of reflective tape on the sides and back of your helmet, and that would look pretty lame by itself on my all black helmet... So this is what I did: I love X-acto knives! |

It'll make lane splitting, and passing a bit easier. Just help them poor cagers out of the ditch from time to time. |
