I just called the hotel to make my reservation and they have about 10 rooms left that I had blocked off. The cutoff to get the blocked rooms is 15 May however if you know you are coming I do not recommend waiting that long. I will be going up to scout for a suitable meeting place/restaurant. This might pose a problem for this little town but I will find something. I started a thread in the Storm Front / Buell Events section which is where we should be. Frank |

VERY nice looking shirts. Can a "poseur" order a pair? I don't think Kim and I will be able to make it. With her new job sending her on travel from time to time, and my job being...well, it's a public forum so I'll just say 'difficult'...I suspect we're going to miss it But, I'll check with Kim and see if she wants one too (since she now wants to try and find an S2 for herself since she fits on mine!) and we'll get some ordered if that's OK |

Joe feel free to order. You'll be styling! Meribeth and I printed the first batch of shirts this weekend and they were dropped off at the post office yesterday. People who ordered early should see them in the next few days. We are waiting to accumulate more orders before placing another order to the t-shirt supplier and doing another one of our print runs. Rex, Order cut off date is May 20th Your red shirt with the white print came out real nice. Our fav was the blue shirt with blue ink, and white shirt with blue ink, although they all looked good. |

Frank, Just got to love those brown truck days. Let me know how the stand works out. I painted mine last night and will get it put back on tomorrow. I also started gutting the Corbin seat. They do stitch them together very well. |

I won't have my partner with me for the trip. So I downgraded my room to one with two beds. Is anyone interested in sharing a room? Shane |

I have a couple of S2 sidestands. If I bring them, would there be someone there that would take them, and be able to bend them for me? REX |

Got my pair of shirts this week. They look fantastic. I probably should have gone with white letters on the blue rather than black letters, but I like subtle also. Love em, thanks so much. Shane |

Eric seems to be a little farther than I am..... Working on it though!!! Powder coated frame and swingarm are back. I should finish stripping the tailpiece and drop bodywork off for paint this week. Picked up engine parts from Brinutz this weekend. I'll drop those off to get cleaned up this week as well. I haven't given up on Colorado, but some assembly in Colorado may be required!!! |

I'm still jealous that you got that race header Roger! Wanna help a brutha out since you beat me to it and swap stock headers? I'm gonna turn the stock header into a race header with some trick welding and a $30 3" diameter 90* elbow but I don't wanna use mine 'cuz it has a dent in it. Anyone wanna trade stock headers? I'd even make ya a good deal on a carbon fiber V&H muffler. I'm gonna use a megaphone. |

Roger and Eric, you two have your work cut out for you that is for sure. As always if there is anything you need in order to get your rebuilds done post it or drop me an email. I am sure if any of us S2 owners have something that will get you back on the road we can get it to either of you. My biggest problem on any rebuild has been parts. You can pretty much get all the parts but the wait time is sometimes long. Good luck to both of you and I really hope both of you make it to the gathering. Frank |

Ross, If you want it, it's yours. I don't think it's a race header. I believe it's a stock early S3 that's been beat up pretty badly. I should have talked to the guy before committiing Wilson to pick it up for me. Wilson did get the price down to something fair, though. I'll shoot you some pics and you can see what you think. Frank, Thanks for the offer. We'll see how it goes. I'm humbled by the amount of goodwill there is at Badweb. I'm trying to order parts in batches. I picked up the first batch yesterday. The problem is that I provided old numbers and received a bag with new numbers. I'm going to talk to the gent that placed the order for me and see if he can give me a cross reference number for the rest of the items. I plan to post the complete list with old and new part numbers so someone can use it as a guide if they follow the same path. |

Roger, someone on this site may be able to help you. I know what a pain that can be. I keep meaning to add the multitude of stickies to the notes section of the service manual but so far I just have a pile of cross referenced numbers on a bunch of little yellow pieces of paper. See you in June. Frank |

Roger, I have access to H-DNet which should have all the "old-part-number-to-new-part-number" supercessions. I'll be happy to look 'em up for y'all. Heck, due to my enormous ego...I mean "brain"...I mean "helpfulness"... I can sometimes even find numbers that aren't in the parts book at all. Just ask Frank! HellBuelly J "Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better Buell." --Benjamin FranklinBuelly P.S. Sadly, try as I might, I can't find a race header either. I have "header-envy" of all y'all who have one. |

Just ask Frank! Very true. Jay found the part numbers for the S2-T decals that no one else had. They are not listed in the parts book for some reason. |
