I used to subscribe to Cycle, Cycle World, Cycle Guide, Rider, and Motorcyclist in the 70-80's.

Back when the Honda Sabre came out MC's tech editor showed up at the Rock Store on one. I mentioned to him that I'd seen the Cycle Guide guys up at Newcomb's Ranch on it a couple weekends prior, got quite the arrogant reply that "Motorcyclist is the first to test it" in so many words.

Confirmed to me personally IMHO the attitude behind his pompous articles and the rag in general. Magazine hasn't changed much in 30 years.

Cycle and Cycle Guide rocked, glad Cycle World hung on.

Well, it sounds like at least half a dozen of you folks got in for the free sub. I signed up last year when they started it. It's free with pictures of motorcycles to keep one preoccupied while taking care of #2, what the hay. I think it took 6-8 weeks last year before the first issue showed up, just an FYI.
