I know we talked about this a little while ago, but is anyone printing shirts for the homecoming? if not, what hoops would somebody have to jump through to make them? I know there has to be a legal bear trap to step in. I may be interested, if anybody knows. |

I've made up shirts in the past. To avoid any legal entanglements, I intentionally did not use any copyrighted images or names. Of course, even if the legal dept. came after me, they wouldn't have gotten a cent, 'cause I gave away the shirts for free. I won't do shirts again. The headaches that went along with the Loud Fans shirts were more than I care to repeat. (But the VP of Mechanical Engineering at work is teaching me CAD, and how to play with the CNC, and I've got an Idea...) (Message edited by Crusty on March 29, 2009) |

A white tshirt with a muddy tire print across it. IT really needs no more explanation than that. I want one in XXL. Let me know |

Crusty, A CNC combination bazootie/switch housing That runs the width of the cross brace on the bars. A place for switches and leds? That's off topic, not a shirt in it. Hey, if you sale the shirts, can they take the shirt off your' back? |

Naw, I've got an idea, but it isn't reality yet, and I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch. I also don't want to hatchet my Counts before they chicken. Hell, I spent most of today talking myself out of quitting my job. If I quit, nothing will get made for Homecoming, but I'll probably feel happier. Anyway, IF I don't quit, what I have in mind is simple, small, inexpensive and easy to make in sufficient quantity to give away to most everyone at Homecoming. But they aren't made yet, and may never be. Actually, the way things have been going, I might not even make it to Homecoming this year. We shall see what we shall see... |

I'm thinking about just printing a shirt transfer on my PC/printer. "BB&D" on the back, maybe a left over pocket label "OurDee @ BadWeb", Even a sponsor label for the sleeve "Permagrin Products / Uly-Lite" and a black and white US flag for the other sleeve. Or some iteration of the above with graphics. I've got a button down collar light green/tan shirt to put it on. People will be able to know who I am and avoid me. |

I will be at Homecoming, if it's at all possible. My attitude about my job is a little better today than it was, but that could change pretty quickly. With the economy the way it is, I know that if I quit, I won't have the money to go. I also know that if I quit, I'll be throwing away an opportunity to learn a useful skill. Anyway, to get back to the topic; If I were going to do a shirt, I'd put ICH BIN EIN BUELLER on the back, and Homecoming 2009 on the pocket. That way, I wouldn't have to worry about the Legal Turkeys coming after me. |

O.K, I guess I'll ask the next question, Mostly XL sizes? I would hate to have shirts made, in a gazillion sizes, and have 3/4 of a gazillion left over. (you can only use so many to wash your bike). |

Why would you wash your bike? Hey Tim, Are you enjoying the nice spring weather we are having? Good for riding as long as your bike has a track. |
