Do the Motoman method. It works and is very fast to do. I broke my ULY in this way and it doesn't use any oil between changes and I'm talking 2 to 3,000 mile intervals. I use Mobil 1 15W50 auto synthetic. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm |

Don't know where you are located in oregon, but we might be coming out towards Sisters,Ore. in a couple of months to do some fishing. I'm in Beavercreek. Fishing near Sisters, huh?! The Metolious is a flyfisherman's paradise. I bike camp up there in the summer. Awesome area. I love the Camp Sherman Store. |

Awesome! welcome aboard. It is great to hear about anyone buying any big non-necessity* these days. Enjoy the bike and ride safe! *for those of us who already have a Uly it certainly *seems* like a necessity of course. |

UPDATE: I picked the bike up Wednesday. Over the last couple days I put on a 100 miles. Don't give me to much sh**. I have to work a lot (self employed with a new bike to pay for). I love it so far. The last three years of research, saving and waiting was definitely worth it! I'll probably close out this thread, stop wasting time checking in and go ride. Thanks for all your help and advice. |
