Homecoming has happend in one from or another every years since I think 1990 when I organized the first one. Even if the owners have to organize it themselves something will happen. Beside by Buell standards we are not late at all for an announcement |

Dave I know they have been late but with the state of the Economy it's in it makes ya kinda wonder this time. Like you I have been apart of Dealer events with Brag and such and big part with the 20th along with many others that had a huge hand in it as well. One thing that isn't happening as of right now is we being the local's haven't been vocal about starting anything either.... yet. |

If we have to do our own Homecoming, we will. I just wish the Factory would let us know, one way or the other; so that if we have to "roll our own" we can get started. |

2 weeks ago I toured the factory and our guide said that a scaled down homecoming is going to happen this year but they hadn't set a date yet. I too am hoping to make my first and put a face to alot of these screen names. |

I think I'd like to perhaps plan and organize it. I've hinted a couple times in prior posts about owners doing it but I think it would be fun for us to do. If anyone is interested in helping, drop me a NOTE. |

Court the Hal's group has always been a focus group for the homecoming. BudC, Toni and Steve, Carparts would be a good starting point for local contacts. But I figure you know that already. Greg |

We'd do whatever is needed to help get the ball rolling. We also have a couple of new, and very enthusiastic members I'm sure that are willing to help out. I also just emailed Flick to see if they have anything planned. And maybe help get the ball rolling on their end. |

Good for you Shawn. I would like to see it centered around Road America. That way we can all check out the races and support Barney and the Geico 1125R. (Message edited by bads1 on February 03, 2009) |

Bads1, I'm all about the custard. We dont really have that down here. That was some good stuff from Kopps and those burgers were like the size of a dinner plate. I'd love to see what could be better !!! |

Don't know if I'll ever have my bike back together, considering I'm trying to all this work to it, and don't know what the hell I'm doing, nor having the right tools available to finish what I've started... So, I may be out for Homecoming this year, and I only live 4 hours away... |

Phillip, I sent you my info this morning. I do not know what help I can be from out here in Colorado but you never know. Even if BMC decides to have a scaled down version of Homecoming I hope they post the dates soon! I can not imagine Mr. Flick not wanting to do something but also realize that there are many things to consider. Brin, not going to Homecoming is not acceptable. |
