My Daughter, Andrea gave me a Throttlemeister for Christmas. Since I wanted to keep the handguards, I made a couple of bolt extensions that the handguards could clip into.

I like to take long rides, and I really liked the Throttlemeister that I had on my S3-T and M2. I had the idea for the spacer, and when Andrea gave me the Throttlemeister for Christmas, I sat down with the verniers and made a couple of measurements. Then I chucked a piece of Stainless bar stock in the lathe at work and turned these out. They look good, and work well. |

Nevrenuf does she work in Manitowoc? There is a parts lady there with that name. Has been nice the 2 times I have had to interact with her. |

did you have to do anything to the guards to make them work with the throttlemiester.(tweek them in any way) or did they fit up pretty good crusty. svh, she is one of the same. and i don't think you would have gotten any better service from a parts lady anywhere imho.(maybe i'm just bias that way.) |

I opened up the hole a little bit where the guard fits on the spacer. (I ran a drill bit through the opening, then dressed it with a file, lightly) Otherwise,no. Terri (my Wife) likes it enough that she wants me to put the same setup on her Ss. Handguards, Throttlemeister and spacer. |

because you opened up the hole a little bit, you don't have a problem with them wanting to pop off then. i still need to put the tuonos on the uly still. we got them on the blast and it makes a big difference all the way around. |

Nice, I just put the left hand guard in between the throttlemeister weight and handle bar and tightened it down. Unfortunately on the right side I just cut the end off the hand guard so it's flat and rests against the TM. If I had been thinking at the time I would have just put a nut on the end of the allen bolt to sandwhich the hand guard in. Yours is much better |
