Duc, A123 is the company that makes the battery cells, the same ones used in the electric drag bike Killacycle. A123 was recently competing with another company for the contract to make the batters for the Chevy Volt, but lost because they wouldn't be able to meet production demands |

My friend has been making Emoli 123 packs for a while now. It's pretty easy if you can solder and use a glue gun and heat gun. There are a couple of different cell manufacturers. here is some stuff to read. http://teamkaputt.com/communityserver/forums/t/2.a spx http://www.slkelectronics.com/DeWalt/packs.htm You can buy here: http://www.modelelectronicscorp.com/view_products. php?tid=1&stid=2 http://www.maxamps.com/products.php?cat=62 I'm due for a battery. I think I'll put one together over the winter. I think the cheapest way to go is to buy a 36Volt pack and deconstuct it. |

Ok, now I'm pissed! The tv show (peoples court) doesn't want to try my case. I was ready to become a big star too! CRAP, I guess that means no fancy leathers anytime soon. Maybe the chicks on bikes thread will cheer me up. |

Oh....we found out Vanson is NEXT week! Well...they are expecting the Danbury contingent NOW. Nice shop, which proudly manufactures right here in USA.Pretty decrepit old mill building though. Been awhile since i've been around that city.Used to know it REALLY well.Still can't get lost there.I had my bakeries confused.Vanson is down the "Globe".My bakery was down the "Flint" out of biz. We had some good french meat pies though while out there. Maybe we'll see you guys' next Saturday. |

Hey kids, I recently moved back to CT (I'm in Derby...bout 10 mins NW of New Haven) from the Atlanta area... Thought about selling my '03 XB9S for a while, but the market sucks, so looks like I'll be keeping it. I'm a big lurker on BWB (I post more actively on BoRn, and sometimes NESR), but I'll try to get more involved on BWB during the chilly months! Bill |

I was actually referring to the many other buellers that are known to be in this area but seem to have disappeared or been very scarce this past year. And I'm sure there are plenty other newbies around that we have yet to hear from. |

Hibernate? Bah! We've got a Polar Challenge going on over at http://www.bandofriders.net - ride at least 20 miles per week every week in December, Jan, and Feb, and you're entered in a drawing for a free Tony's Track Day. The Buell ain't gettin' put away! Ulynut, cool - I'm working (again) at Sikorsky, so probably not too far from you. Niceharley - does DHD give a discount for BWBers? My local HD dealer outside ATL gave us 10 or 15% off, I forget which... Just want to make sure I give my business to the "right" people |
