Last may I posted re. wobbly at speed,I finally got around to changing the headstock bearings,I found that ,after removing the fork tubes the notchyness of the bearings was very evident, after fitting and torqueing the new ones up the handling has been restored. The wobblyness became apparent after a failed front mount, could the vibration I felt before the alloy mount snapped, have damaged the bearing. Maybe worth checking headstock bearings after a failed front mount. Cheers Lee (Message edited by Gasaxe on November 11, 2008) |
