The last time I watched a Redskins game - and they won - Art Monk was playing. |

I'm a big Zorn fan from back in the day, but I've got a bad feeling that this will be a rough year for him. The team has yet to gel around him, and it doesn't help that Campbell obviously hasn't memorized the playbook yet. |

Somewhere out there Damnut is crying in a bowl of Cheerios. Mr Brady, it appears, is done for the season. "The Pats are STILL one of the best teams in the NFL and that's a fact." Not with Chris Simms they aren't. |

I'm a Pats fan as well. Sucks to see it happen but Cassel didn't look too bad. The only QB that would start over Cassel if brought in would be Culpepper. I've heard nothing about the Pats being interested in him though. |

Chris Simms was on his way for a physical I read somewhere. I too thought that Culpepper would be a good idea. |

Culpepper announced his retirement last week. Heard about Sims too. |

"Culpepper announced his retirement last week." And Favre did last March, doesn't mean a thing. Culpepper is only 31 and its been said that his "retirement" announcement was a "look at me". |

Im with chinashop...don't forget about me speech is what it was. I don't think it would be a bad idea. Give him a 1 year deal. Mr. Craft has plenty of money... |

Being that Favre is in the same division as the Pats. Brady's injury just took them out of the lime light and put Favre and the Jets in it. This could be a huge year for the Jets. |

Culpepper had 1 year deals on the table, he didn't want them. Since his injury, he's been terrible anyway. Pats would be better off taking a chance on a young up and coming QB. IIRC, it worked ok the last time they did that. |

I don't want to hear that! I'm a Pack er fan but a also Favre fan. Just hoping Brett gets slap Ted Thompson in his face in the end. On another note I wish the Packers well this year. Great team and Rogers does show great promise. Tonights game with the Vikings won't come easy. |

I like Brett, no true football fan can dislike him. IIRC, it worked ok the last time they did that. Your absolutely correct, but Cassel obviously has some big shoes to fill. I personally smiled the day Bledsoe was blasted on that side line. I hated him... |

John,I wouldn't go that far. He may prove you wrong. Rogers is playing very well right now and is backed by a awesome team. I know hes Thompsons boy but thats not Rogers fault. Let see what the kid can do??? Then throw him to the wolves if he doesn't live up to the task's at hand. |

Regarding that anti Rodgers jersey. Root for the name on the front, not the back. The players all come and go, but the team will always be there (except for fans in Cleveland and Baltimore for a few years, and in LA). Rodgers has done nothing wrong. He didn't tell Favre to retire, and didn't trade him when he wanted to come back. All he has done is try to prepare to help YOUR Packers win. (Message edited by badlionsfan on September 08, 2008) |

He only signed a year anyway. 3x4=12 Your right but I'm gonna have to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'd like to see the Packers do well. |

Not only that the Packers have one of the toughest Schedule's in the NFC. |

No crying here Buellina............. just makes this year more interesting. Even with Brady out, the Pats are still the best team in the AFC East. |

All I can say is Wow!!!! Aaron did very, very well. His record tonight was better then Favre's in each others first game. I have nothing bad to say. Packers looked hot. They made a few mistakes but over all.....Awesome. |

The Packers and Rodgers looked OK. His play was definatley at the reigns of the coaching staff, but he made plays when he needed to. The Defense is who looked really good, held when they had to! Nice game all around. I don't see either team beating the Bears that showed up on Sunday to play Indy though. Jim, with the Pats defense being a weak link and now having a guy who hasn't started a game since high school at starting QB, I don't see 11-5 maybe 10-6. Playoff yes, winners no. |

Yea it's going to be interesting for the rest of the year. Simms was here yesterday but was sent back home before even getting a physical. Word today is that Culpepper might be coming in. There is no way that they are going to let Cassels play out the year as the QB, someone else is going to have that job. Where Vick when you need him, oh yea still in the pokey. |

The Packers and Rodgers looked OK. His play was definatley at the reigns of the coaching staff As it should be.Also it was reported last night that Rodgers first game as a start. Was the best on record in NFL HISTORY. That was saying alot for his first game.} |
