How much for the stock shifter linkage, and for what year/model bike are they. Dammit...I haaaaaaaaaaaaad to work and I miss out on the Derby cover. Missed the last one on eBay because it went for over $100 and I can't afford that...gotta love being broke! |

Nutz- The shifter linkage is off a 2000 M2. The shifter arm that connects to the shift shaft is broken, but the rest of the linkage is intact and in good shape. (This is why I listed this as "shifter linkage "parts"). If this fits what you need PM me and I'll send you a picture. |

The only parts not in the dynojet kit are the ones that got installed in the carb - 7 years ago so I can't remember the specifics - probably a couple of jets and a needle. I can do an inventory of the items in the kit when I get home tonight. It even still has the instructions and the cool dynojet sticker for your toolbox. PM me and I'll send you a detailed list of what is in the kit. Thanks |

Kilroy, Is it the updated shifter? I guess pics would help. I need the knuckle that attaches to the shaft and the bolt that tightens it down. I am also interested in your front axle covers. Dibs! |

Nutz - The knuckle that attaches to the shaft is what is broken - so I guess that won't help you. Axle covers are yours - how much are you willing to cough up? |

If you are parting out the shifter parts, I need the spacer that goes in between the primary cover and the shift lever. Pics would be nice to make sure it will work properly. PM me with your price including shipping. |

Hey skool - refresh my memory - I'm getting old - wasn't it the bushing or something? Did I send you the picture of what I have? |

Yes it's the big bushing/spacer that goes between the primary cover and the shifter. The shifter pivots on it. I'll buy the whole thing if you don't want to part it out. I never got a picture. bishopj @ earthlink dot net |

Thanks anyway. That's not the type I need. I already have one of those and am replacing it with an updated one. I was told was my updated one was complete but when I received it, a very important piece was missing. The guy I traded a Banke GP shifter for it made out like a bandit and now he ignores me! Not everyone on BadWeb is to be trusted! |

I still may have the spacer in my junk box. Do you know the dimensions? |

Overall the bushing is about 2 inches long. There is a shoulder at about 1.5 inches where it gets smaller and that is where the shifter lever pivots. If you have a parts manual so you can have an idea of what it looks like it is P/N N0614001A3. It came in the updated shifter kit for year 2000 M2 and S3 models. It came stock on all later tuber models. Models with chin fairings had 2 bushings to accommodate the fairing. The guy I traded with sent me one of the two for the chin fairing type, I had to rig up some spacers to get it to work. I just want the right part and I think I'll end up having to buy it from the dealer at about $30. That guy got a Banke shifter for next to nothing! |
