Buell is giving you what you want and you are still complaining The bike in Cityxslickers post, looks cool. I wanted something more then a different fairing after 1 year... Oh yeah, a fix for the FI system would be nice to! I still own the smoothest running Buell ever. My Carborated M2!!! Now that I look more at the 1125cr it is good that they didn't make the headlight yellow and the fairing blue, it would look like Marge Simpson carrying two bags of groceries home from the quik-i-mart. |

Who said I wanted this? It's the same as the "R" from the airbox back. That seat looks like a torture device, to me. |

I actually like it. Although i`m still trying to get use to those pods. But yep I actually like it. I think it looks better than the R version. I never really liked that big fairing up front, To much plastic for me. I want a little wind on my face. If you want the comfort of a car go buy one. I like my bikes a little raw. I guess thats why I ride an S1. Can`t wait to see this thing in person. Good job Erik ! S1Eric |

I still like it. I wasn't looking for an S version of the 1125 - all I cared about was a fix for the hideous fairing on the 1125R. This bike fixes that for me. |

I wonder if the 1125 models will outsell the Ducatti Monster line this year... Naked tubeframe bikes will always be cool... |

Seat a torture devise? Have you ridden one? I have no comfort issues with the seat so far. |

Saw a B-King in person. In magazine pictures it was entertaining. In person, it was just a mess. IMHO of course. If I was going to get a CR it would get 9sx bars. Don't judge the pods until you see them in person. Even if you still don't like them, you will notice they have a way different effect "live" then they do in pictures. |

exactly, give it a big round headlight and give the monster owners something to worry about. I love the idea of the 1125cr, but it looks like it belongs in judge dred to me. |

I'd buy the 1125CR. I like the black on black. I think the dog bone looks better with less mass on top. I REALLY don't like the R Tail on it. Never have liked the R tail. I'd like to see an S tail with color matching fabric on the passenger portion like the Orange Uly seats. On black it wouldn't matter. So what's in the 1125R tail? I see some Oberon integrated mirrors/turn signals in the CR's future: http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myproducts.cfm?p arentcategoryid=605%7CLighting%2C%20Turn%20Signals %2C%20%26%20Mirrors&productID=5631&showDetail=1&ca tegoryID=606|Turn%20Signals&vendoridtodisplay=0&fi lterFor=&collection=605%7CLighting%2C%20Turn%20Sig nals%2C%20%26%20Mirrors |

I think this thing looks awsome the way it is. besides look at all the people who built lightning firebolt half breads. The factory just beat every one to the punch and came out with one from the factory. If i had 12 large to throw at one i would be one one as soon as they come out but I will have to wait quite some time before i will be able to have one that is unless they would be considering a half off sale (not a chance). |

"besides look at all the people who built lightning firebolt half breads." Look at a majority of us that didn't. |

Of the half breeds, there are an equal number of half breeds that went the other way, btw. The XB12R with the S tail is dead sexy. |

I've never liked the looks of the currently available aftermarket exhausts on the R. I think something like a Saron or D&D will look awesome on a CR! |

The CR screams Tailgunner exhaust!! Now that the 1125R fairing comes in white and blue, I may just have to mod the 08 XB12R.... can anyone photo shop a white & blue XB12R with a white and blue 1125R fairing??? |

Don't know why so many don't like it. I love it and It will be in my garage ASAP. I'm already thinking of what I'm going to change to make it mine. But it is a hard sell compared to the white 1125r, I never thought they would come out with the CR and have been telling myself for a few months now that if they had a white 1125 it would be mine. But you just can't beat Black and Red! |

>>Don't know why so many don't like it. << I mean look at the other bikes it's up against - Speed Triple, Raptor, Brutale, B-King, Z1000, E6 - none of them have 'weirdo styling' hey. I like it too. For all the 'f*ck your establishment' reasons I like Buells. |

"I wonder if the 1125 models will outsell the Ducatti Monster line this year... " That's silly. Ducati sells boatloads of Monsters ... 1125Rs are still sitting idle in dealerships. Good looking bike, but let's be real here. (Message edited by kal72 on July 22, 2008) |

Not bad, but.... Headlight is a bit B-King and did they go to one one side low/high? Makes for a slightly imbalanced look. And keeping that damn R tail section. Sounds like they've improved the fueling and mpg with new maps and o2's and such. Though they talk about better response under 6000rpm. Shouldn't that be under 4? 3 even? where it stumbles. No sale to me, but maybe this time next year dealers will clear them out at current lower prices for the 1125r. Have to look more seriously at a used/leftover streetrods i think. |
