Somehow I managed to snap the Shift Lever Assembly on my 2006 Ulysses. After several searches I can only come up with part: N0320.02A8. However, I'm told that this is compatible with all XB bikes except for the Ulysses. My Parts Catalog and Service Manual is still in the mail somewhere?!?! And..., my local dealer is being less than helpful. Thanks for your assistance. |

See if this helps: http://www.buell.com/en_us/gear/catalog.asp [edit: never mind. Just gee-gaws. They need to put their parts catalog online!] (Message edited by Red_Chili on July 22, 2008) |

I see you already edited your post. The accessory part numbers seem to be readily available. This is what I need: I still don't understand how it got bent. I don't want to think it was like this when I bought the bike from the dealer. However, I've only driven the bike about 2 miles since I got it. I was having difficulty shifting, so I took a close look and found that this piece was bent. It only broke when I was fiddling with it after I had removed it. |

Shipping damage that got missed? Bring it to the dealer's attention. |

Regardless..., the dealer I purchased the bike from isn't an official buell dealer. Not yet anyway. So they can't get me the part. I doubt it is more than a 30 dollar piece anyway. |

I believe I have seen that very part at a specialty hardware store near hear, in fact. But probably cheaper from Buell! Since anyone can order a Buell part from SOMEwhere, I would think they could (and should) replace it for you. |

You would think... I still will need the part number. I just didn't want to have to go into town (almost an hour and a half round trip to the Buell Dealer) if I didn't have to. Since they still have not returned any of my phone calls I will be visiting them tonight on the way (well kind of) to work. |
