Hmmm, a $500k grand prize. I think this might attract a few participants, with only a $1k entry fee. |

At $500,000 for 1st place, I can imagine there will be some seriously crazy sh*t happening. I wonder if SPEED will carry it? God I love that Michele . |

I've seen these pop up from time to time. It'll probably never even happen. In a few weeks the website will be issuing an apology, or blaming someone for why it didn't happen. |

Too much BS in that sight. $1000 up front so you can ride with them? Someone thought up a scam to make a lot of money. $500K grand prize for the first rider, but we're taking backroards and the long way? I guess they're expecting way over "500" riders at $1000 a pop. Just too hard to swallow. Some people would kill for that kind of money, it would be the "Reality TV" version of the cartoon "Wacky Races". The worlds most fearless riders? I don't know what their hype is, I've done this trip alone with my wife and I don't see having to be a soldier or fight wars as a pre-requisite. It's just a ride, a long one mind you, but just a ride. |

You know though, this sort of thing gets a person to thinking. Why not have a "Buell's Only" trip like this with no incentive of 500K at the finish. Designate one guy to take care of the logistics. Plan a 5000 some mile ride. Get some camp site locations set up along the way as well as incorporate the BRAN and have fun with it. I know a lot of guys would like to do long trips and "epic journeys" but simply dont want to worry about the logistics aspect and don't know what to do or who to turn to when something breaks. Heck I may just start planning for something like this for next year in preparation for the Alcan 5000. |

""Why not have a "Buell's Only" trip like this..."" Might be fun to run old route 66 - east to west. . |
