I guess I should be thankful it won't fit my '04, because otherwise my budget would be short $100.00!! |

Skully are you going to make them for 03-04 models as well ???? Believe it or not, I'm in the same boat you are. Our XBs are both 2003 models! Yes, we do plan to offer one for the early models, but it will be more difficult as the dipstick and sensor portion must be flexible. Jeremy - Thanks for making me laugh. I have some shekels that I brought back from Israel... Keith |

Skully: Hey if your XB oil temp gauge works as well as your bar end and axle sliders, then make me one for my '03 XB9S and send it right along to me, okay?! Yes, I'm serious. You make good stuff. |

Question how easy is it to remove with gloves? I love my current "Benz" dipstick. Easy to remove. |

Yes, we do plan to offer one for the early models, but it will be more difficult as the dipstick and sensor portion must be flexible. Man, that looks slick! Nice work, I've been wanting a gauge like this. Question though, my Banke dipstick isn't flexible like the stock plastic and it works with my '05 just fine. The 'stick' portion does swivel a bit but looks just like your 06+ product. Just curious whats different. |

What no 03-05? That's a lot of bikes... I'd buy on in second, Stimulas Cash in hand... perhaps you could do 03-05 with two sticks one on a swivel to measure the level and other fixed? Good Job, thats even nicer than the one's I've seen for the BMW's |

I want!!! Damn, Dark Horse Moto is going keep trying to empty my bank account!!! Seriously, very nice -- though is it wrong of me to want it in the Eco slider material? I feel dirty for admitting that. |

will they only be available in black? The anodizer charges by quantity. If we offer more than one color, the price will most likely have to increase. Thanks Professor! Will do Tx05xb12s. What is the oil temp supposed to be? Cudajohn – The owner of the prototype has reported oil temps that maxed out at 220dF in 70dF ambient temps. Obviously riding style, traffic, and air temps will play a huge role in what you can expect. I checked one of the gauges for accuracy by placing the tip in boiling water. It reported 212-213dF. Question how easy is it to remove with gloves? Corporatemonkey - Easy! Question though, my Banke dipstick isn't flexible like the stock plastic and it works with my '05 just fine. The 'stick' portion does swivel a bit but looks just like your 06+ product. Just curious whats different. Hey Clinton (I have your gauge face on my Lightning) – The thermometer is the bimetallic type and has a stem that goes from the gauge down to the tip of the dipstick. I’m pretty sure that if the stem is put into a bind, the gauge will no longer work. I have asked the manufacturer for options so we can get started on a gauge for the early models but I have not received an answer yet. Thanks Firebolt! My webmaster was glad to hear something positive! Thanks Ted! Thanks Elff! What does it look like on the swing arm? Pictures? Sam - I don’t have photos of anything but the prototype but that will change shortly. Doon – Will do Hogs/Buellinamachineshop – please see above That is one nice looking piece. Now I'm asking myself "what's it going to cost to upgrade to a '06 swingarm?" Thanks Austin – hopefully you won’t have to! LOL Thanks Ustorque! Mr2shim – please see above |
