06' ULY with original battery and just shy of 12,000 miles. Bought my ULY in Oct 05. How long are the original batteries lasting for yous guys? Also, I've only had to change out my 97' Electraglide battery once in over 11 years. No real battery tender either, just a facsimile marine battery type trickle/tender charger that I move around to 4 different bikes during winter. My '06's battery has been officially not up to par since it was new. It would never show more that 12.2 volts. Sometimes when cold I even have to push the starter button twice to get it to turn over, but it always starts and runs fine. It's now at 26,500 miles and a month away from the end of my warranty period. I think it will make it. |

Mine was replaced at 19,000, but that was only because a bad stator was dragging it down. |

The battery in my '06 Uly lasted about 6 months. Remember my thread "battery took a crap"? |

My '06 Uly (S/N 044) has its original battery at 46K miles. Never on battery tender, ridden year-round every day. |

'06 Uly (#87), original battery - 34,900miles, manufacturing date Sep 05. Never on a battery tender (re-charged twice when I was chasing the '77' connector), ridden daily. While we are on good news stories - original fan.

06 Uly, 41,000 miles, original battery. I've begun using a tender recently, as I was told it's a good idea. Thats just been in the last couple of months though. |

Original battery, '06 Uly built DEC 2005 with 23K miles. On a battery tender when it will sit more than a day. Ridden almost year round as Chicago riding season can be pushed from March to November with heated gear. |

For those that have replaced their battery, what did you replace it with? OEM? I'm currently considering an Odyssey battery (http://www.odysseybatteries.com/) - I've used them in the past, great, high output batteries - just need to figure out which model # will work |

I had early battery failure like Teeps. Replaced it with another factory battery and its been fine ever since. I think I remember FB using something like the Odyssey. Etennuly uses leftover batteries from his hearing aids. |

I also have the original fan. In fact, let's see... everything on my '06 Uly is original at 46K miles. Er, except the tires. Oh yeah, also the low-beam (twice). |

'04 XB12R original battery. Always on a tender, as long as I've owned it. Cranking is getting slower, and tripmeter tends to zero out. All things considered it's still functional. |
