um "jewish with my money"??? Might want to think about offending others before you use ethnic terms casually as we all come from various back grounds. In any event - you might try Novus. Takes out small scratches and marks from gas etc and is available at most if not all dealerships. |

+1 on Novus 1,2 & 3. I polished a brand new out of the box R fairing and even improved on brand new condition. It does well on scratches and haze, and doesn't appear to build up. I was using Meguiar's Quick Detailer after every wash until I tried the Novus. Novus removed the haze the Meguiar's was leaving behind. |

Why can't someone say "I am cheap or lazy?" Why resort to insulting a particular group to make a point. A little different than so-called political correctness. Just like I wouldn't insult your mom or sister. Now - that said everyone answered the original question - didn't they? BTW -Being Jewish is a race and/or a religion. |

Political correctness has evolved from fear. If someone says something that personally offends you then tell them. Telling others what to and not to say because you believe it may offend others is paternalistic and is most probably offensive to the very people you are protecting in you view. Live and let live. I am not advocating that we all be assholes but let those who should speak speak. |

novus for the deep stuff, and plexus for lighter scratches and cleaning. Both great products, but require some elbow grease. That was very Christian of us all to respond wasn't it? |

Umm, if you ask someone with Jewish heritage -- like me for example (one side of my family to be precise, the other side is Christian-ish) -- you will find that we consider it an ethnicity that has a religious component for some though not all. The basis for this feeling comes largely from the attempted genocide during WWII -- when people were (and continue to be) singled out for their relations and last name, and not just what building they go into to pray. My experience has also shown me that the majority of people saying anti-semitic (or anything I would term bigoted) things do so because they don't see it as all that wrong, rather than being "bad people". In that spirit, my take on the cleaning/polishing is anything mild for the soap, any wheel cleaner for high-end wheels (just make sure you get the stuff off your rubber or it will be slip-and-slide time on your next ride), and I use Eagle One for polish -- it was suggested to me by someone who knows his stuff as being particularly suited to black vehicles like my XB12R. So far it works like a charm, looks amazing and holds up well. |

So from reading how ridicules this thread has turned into.... Do Jews use Novus and Christians use Plexus? Does that mean if I buy Plexus im a racist? Is Novus cheaper so thats why Jews have more money then poor Christians that buy Plexus? Do Christians care more for their bikes then Jews? Are all Christians German hating Jews? Are you spending too much time on badweb to blog about your political views? Is your marriage suffering because you talk more on the internet then to your wife? Do your kids resent you because you spend more on polish for your bike then you do on their clothes? Why dont we all just stimulate the economy by buying from our sponsors and ride our fun loving buells like good little boys and girls? |

Novus for scratches. CD/DVD repair kits (the liquid that you squirt on and buff off) for spiderweb-scratches from using dirty towels or brats drawing smiley-faces in the dirt on your bike (or maybe that's just me?). Seriously. Works awesome, especially on translucid bodywork. |

Ride in the rain. If it's really dirty - spray it down with S100 and then ride in the rain. |

Space, this isn't an issue of "politically correctness", something I dislike in the extreme, this is an issue of someone using a bigoted (in my opinion) stereotype of a minority group as a descriptive for his behavior. So how about this, "Please don't use my ethnic heritage to describe any behavior of yours, positive or negative." It isn't how y'all see it, it is how we see it, and we see it as a kick in the junk. Simple test, ask the people you are stereotyping if they are ok with it -- and if they say "no", then you don't do it. Fair enough? And Sam07, don't be a jerk. |

I had what looked like some nasty scratches on my translucent hero Blue Airbox and the combination of Novus 1 and 2 made it look like I just brought it home from the dealer. I use Plexus on my Paintball Goggle Lens and Motorcycle lens and it too kicks Ninja Hiney. |

The Heeb in me says "Take it to dealer for non-existant problem, and then blame them for every minor flaw in plastics after you get it back, and demand new plastics or proper cleaning." Supplies cost: $0. Effort involved: None Hebrews offended by this post: Millions! Who was it that said "You can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time"? |

My Jewish wife was asked by someone Did you get that Necklace for Christmas? The necklace in question has a Star of David Pendant. Needless to say, we laughed our butts off and had to explain why it was so funny to the person. I'm Taoist, say what you want, it will roll off me like water on a mountainside

spit on it and rub it with your old underwear.... Hey... I thought this was supposed to be a family friendly website If you get a heavy enough coating of dirt and bug guts, you can't even see the scratches. Plexus is good for the little stuff. |
