When filling the primary is it better to fill to the bottom of the clutch spring or the clutch basket. In photo it look about a 1 cm. difference. |

the shop book calls for one quart in your primary.so that should be good as long as you put a full quart of whatever your using for primary oil in, you'll be safe. |

But there is always some lubricant remaining in the transmission and primary cavities, so it's a very good idea to only add enough oil so that it touches the edge of the clutch spring as depicted in the manual. |
