Is there a seal that is suppose to go under the oil drain plug for the engine crank case on a '98 S1? I changed my oil and the plug was super tight and when I changed the oil and replaced the plug I just tighened it the amount that I normally do and it leaks a little. I tighened it up more but haven't checked it since. I just didn't know if there is suppose to be a brass or hard plastic washer to seal it off? |

The only drain plug on the bottom of the engine case is the primary drain. It needs o-ring 11105 to seal properly. Your engine oil is changed by pulling the plug out of the end of the hose, located near the left passenger footpeg. No o-ring required ![: )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/happy.gif) |

There's an O-ring that goes on the plug. |

Does the O-ring have to be changed with every primary oil change? |
