I was reading some where in here that Buel had gotten a ware house for old parts including painted body work. I to a trip to the local dealer last week and got a price on some painted body work and well.... I think I'll get mine repainted. So here is where I need help. To my knowledge there is no more sikkens in the US. This means that they would have to have a sustitute for my CCB color. Does anybody know who they are using for the new paint? Is there a specific code for the paint? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris |

You can take your current stuff to any decent paint supply place and have them use a spectrometer to get an exact match. Whomever does the paint job should be able to handle that. Sikkens is available in the US... |

Wow I really need to proof read my posts! Thanks for the info. I had planed on doing that as a "fall back". Around here there is RM, PPG and Dupont thats about it. |

I personally prefer PPG and that's a matter of choice, however, any of the mentioned brands manufacture a good product, at the end all boils down to whomever is applying it. |
