Looks like I'll probably put my HID ballast in that well on the inner airbox cover (I have a 9R w/o the muffler servo). It'll be a nice spot for it, but I'll need an extension harnes/wiring. SO.... I need a high voltage line that terminates in those D2 connectors at each end. About 34 inches long end to end. Does anyone know who sells extension wiring, or just the connectors, or could help fab me up? Please & Thanks you. ![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/thumbsup3.gif) |

well, time to give on this... For anyone who might see this, have found out that one does not want to extend these lines because the added resistence of the longer line will shorten the life of your ballast. Off to fashion a bracket so that I can hang it closer... |

Over sized conductors will usually compensate for the additional length. |

I'm still floating back and forth. Some good copper spark plug wire would surely fit the bill. |

Most spark plug wire is crap. Use something with a bit less resistance. |

Contact www.xenondepot.com I have one of their moto kits and it has a longer wiring harness. You can see the dirty details in "the HID thread" They might be able to hook you up. |
