Does Buell use mm or SAE or the mix of both for bolts? |

I've found that to be the biggest "adventure" of owning a Buell. You never know what kind of fastener you'll find next. It's a mixture of metric, SAE and Torx with variations as to the type of fitting, hex or Allen. Makes for a thick tool pouch. |

+1 on the eclectic fastener Buell..... I have much of my Uly apart right now and the it has required quite the mixture |

I hate Torx, they dont seem to have the same positive bite on the wrench as standard allens. I plan to go stainless button head allen asap. |

Has anyone here used that Gator Grip universal socket thing? Seems like it could reduce our tool needs by like 80%. http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/gatorgrip.htm l |

Rwcfrank, Good move IMHO. I never (unless of course I have no viable alternative) put a Torx back in. The stainless replacements will make you a much happier Bueller. Froggy, I can't believe I'm admitting to having one of those, but I do. One of my girls got it for me as a gift and I have found it useful as the last alternative. G2 |
