I have a 2000 X1. I will be replacing the stock AC. I want one that has a provision for the air temp sensor but not for the breather - don't want any oil in the intake. So, far all I have found is NRHS Hurricane. I have one on my Sporter and am happy with it. I assume it has the provision for the temp sensor. Even if it doesn't it is billet AL and can easily be drilled and tapped for one. What else is out there for FI? |

Get the XB rocker covers and route it to the back. Then get what ever breather suits your fancy. Think about leg room, etc. |

I have them on order. But what do I do about the air temp sensor? |

I've got one of these on my S3. They'll sell you just the back plate if that's all you need. I got the back plate from them for $129 I believe. The plate is billet aluminum. Nice piece. http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/17005.html http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/17143/265727.html?1174573794 (Message edited by 5liter on February 10, 2008) (Message edited by 5liter on February 10, 2008) |
