Tripp, does said pic. include Jay Hawley when he was service manager there? Another note: As said else where, the Duc is ready for final assembly. My friend at BCM stated i have 3 hours labor to finish the assembly. But then the other issue will be vacuum test/adjustment of the throttle bodies. He said it's simple.Just the initial vacuum line config. |

My winter project just got worse.I did a partial teardown before xmas to repaint what used to be Jay/Donna Hawleys black M2.I'm going with a custom orange flip flop that really looks sharp.Anyways looks like the partial teardown needs to be a total teardown.I started to re-assemble and realized severe adhesion issues on the frame. Looks like its off to the sanblaster. If any of you more frequent wrench turners out there have any input on:Swingarm removal,Engine removal,Front end etc. I'd be glad to hear from ya...I guess I'd better get on ebay and look for a manual too |

I tear my bike apart every year and do a bunch of maint. & silly mods, what would you like to know? You should Get a manual if you plan to do it yourself. It is a piece of machinery, pay attention while doing it. You will be fine, Post if you need help with something. |

Kmanning, You're repainting that beautiful frame????? Anyway, a cherry picker(engine hoist) will make stripping that frame ALOT easier.. Greg... bike is starting to look like it should... So..uh, whats in the corner behind that stand up shade???? hahaha Chase |

behind that stand up shade? My wife collects antiques. And i have an aversion to anything having to do with woodworking. All i need do now is fill it with water and oil and connect the battery to the new heavy gage wires. I'm waiting for the Powercommander before i sync the thottle bodies.I've got access to maps dialed with similar engine mods. Tempted to try starting it anyway but...chicken |
