Jackie, The package showed up today with the "Brownies", but the COD was eight dollars and change and I didn't have enough. So I talked the delivery guy into waving the fee for half the brownies. All this happened about the time the kids across the street got out of school and wouldn't stop hounding me until I gave them the rest of the brownies. Everybody was still smiling when I went inside , so I guess the brownies were a big hit. Tell the girls they did a great job and should fix some more for their daddy.....Charlie |

I got to take the Versys out today for a ride of 50 miles, the BRP was pretty damp so I curtailed the expectant journey of 300 miles. Pulled into the garage and Presto-change-o I was headed back out with Scarlett. We flew out 311 for Wildlife Road and took that all the way to Broad Run where I followed that back to 311. Turned around and went through the creeks again and followed it through all the wetness and mud to Haymakerstown road. That led me to Daleville and the backways home. 70 miles for scarlett today. Too bad you all were too busy to come out and play. Maybe tomorrow? NUTS |

I went and stared at mine for a while. Does that count? Charlie, Always nice to make the neighborhood kids happy. That should make you real popular with their parents . |

I'm quite pleased to hear you got the out. Any chance you fellas will be heading to Suches for March Badness? I will be going and it'd be great to see you. NUTS |

Nuts, There's some mumbling about Suches down here, but I can't get a clear picture of who might be going. Not a lot of interaction down here. I won't be there, just too expensive for me. Jackie, These kids will eat anything. I think the delivery guy thought that special aroma had to be something recreational. I'm sure it was....Later. Did you get to watch the BCS game? I have three college hats(Clemson,VT and LSU) I wore each one for their respective bowl game and they lost. So when LSU fell on it's face the first two plays I put the hat in the closet. After being ten pts. down , things started to swing their way, I wasn't about to get the hat out again. OSU is going to be a steam roller next year. |

I think I'm gonna order me an LSU hat for next year. I flipped the channel when it looked like they had fell apart and never turned it back, a decision I regretted after reading the game right up the following day. Didn't I tell you at the beginning of the season that LSU was going to take the whole shabangabang ? |

Nuts, You must be the Golden Boy. The prices Kip quoted me weren't particularly smokin'. The used DRZ was only $600.00 less than brand new (right at $5500.00). The KLX was $100.00 more than he quoted you. Looks like it will be an Ebay type deal if I do indeed get another one. |

Were those OTD prices? Gotta consider all that tax, title, setup and NUTS' kickback. I'm scheduled for an offroad clinic at the end of February in Tennessee. Brother's coming home with skills! |

Good luck on your clinic Nuts, take an extra box of band-aids with you. Oh, and when you park Scarlett, just lean her up against a tree. You know how embarrassing that kickstand thing can be among strangers. Seriously, have a good time. Sounds like it's gonna be fun......Charlie |

Where is Tank? That dude starts his own club and just up and bails on his loyal cyberfriends. What a peck . Seriously though, I should be back in the saddle by the end of March so perhaps we can complete that ride we never got to finish on your first visit. Charlie, I can't believe you ain't gonna give me a hard time about buying another dual sport less than a month after selling my Honda. I just can't bring myself to get the ATV dirty unless absolutely necessary so I am forced to buy another bike to keep the Nutster out of trouble . If anybody is interested I believe it is going to be the Suzuki DRZ400. Has its minor quirks but after sitting on it the other day it appears to be much more nimble and flickable than the 650. The thing has some pretty righteous suspension right out of the box and looks well suited for moderate jumps/drops. It may be Nuts talking me out of trouble for a change. "Look at me, I can fly". SMASH! |

Jackie, Don't like to beat on a guy when he's struggling. That ATV is bound to use more polish than all your bikes put together. I'd be afraid to take it in the woods too. Let me tell you a story, back in 93 I bought a new black Probe GT. That thing was awsome,my last sports car was in the 60's.Problem was I lived on a dirt road, half mile off the paved, you get the picture. I bought an old pick-up to drive to work in bad weather. I spent all my time and money fixing up this old truck and driving it every where.Looks like rain, take the truck, gonna snow, truck, gotta haul something, truck, pick up the kids, truck, etc. After 18 months I had put 2K miles on the Probe and polished it a dozen times.Sold the Probe and got the wife a new car. Much happier with the old truck. I think you will really like the Zukie, off road it's all about suspension in my opinon.Besides all that polishing can wear a guy out.Ride a beater and enjoy life. |

Tank, Welcome back and thanks for extending that beach invitation to the RVFL! You need to get Blake to put a password access on the Lion O' forum so I can't spy on ya'll . The new bike should be setting beside the ATV around the beginning of March. Just in time for Spring riding season. Gotta pace myself though so the bike lasts a good long time. I figure if I put 500 miles a year on it then it should make it 20 years or so before needing a ring job . I'm seriously considering a road trip to look at a left over Husqvarna. I'm just worried if I go that route that I'll never get any ridng time because I won't be able to pull Nuts off of it. I've officially had the ATV for a month and put a grand total of 3.4 miles on it. It won't stop raining long enough for the mud to dry up. Course' if it does stop raining then it gets dusty and the ATV will still get dirty. I just can't win!! |

You know better than that. Everyone was invited, from everywhere. Turned out to be a good trip, and a much needed distraction for my little buddy(nephew). His real pop got busted for armed robbery, and he's already a convicted felon. He WILL do real time, this time. Good for us and the kid. Grandma took him to the beach, but he didn't know I was coming. I showed up Saturday morning while he was brushing his teeth, and got a shirt full of toothpaste welcome. So it ended up being me, grandma, kid, and moms cousin Ray(cool country cat), and it was all worth it for the lifted spirit of the kid. Get a bike, bro! I'm already on the way. I heard Yammi is running a special. I haven't checked out what it covers yet??? |

Man you can't just throw that bit of information out here and disappear without a hint. Good thing you ruled out the blow up doll because thats what I would have thought . My curious nature has GOT to know (provided I can't be prosecuted for having knowledge of illegal activities). |

AHHH! The ole' HAYKAYFOETEESEBN. You'll get no complaints from this contingency unless you don't bring it along for me and Nuts to try out . Remember we gots a fine range over here that we make a pilgrimage to several times a week. A bit o' plinkin' will be mandatory on your next visit. |

I can't tell in the video what it is, but I want to try it too. You think I could get Nuts to put an apple on his head and streak across the field? Or maybe drag a pumpkin on a short rope? Just trying to put a little sport in it..........Just a thought. |

He won't do it Charlie. I have tried repeatedly to get him to run a zig-zag pattern down the range with his hands waving in the air, screamin' "Hep me! Hep me!" but he continues to refuse. The way we miss shots at squirrels I don't think he'd have much to worry about. I did talk him into balancing a tic tac on his index finger whilst I shot it off at 75 yards with a Rage 3 blade broad head. Only took 6 tries and 14 stitches . |

Jackie, It's good to know about Nut's mishap with the broad heads. Now when he waves at me and I only see one finger, I won't take offence. Nuts, I'm not a stranger to a 12ga.slug and I know what it can do.And before the game warden asks, what happened to the plug in that gun? Tank, Shooting that thing would be like lighting twenty dollar bills with a lighter, a lot of fun though. |

Jackie, Do NOT buy a bike today. You have plenty of time and there are lots of other dealers to muscle about. Remember how much over MSRP you paid for the ATV and don't think they wouldn't do it again. I'm up for a trip anytime to collect a good deal for ya. NUTS |

Gentlemen, I think we have a winner! Hopefully will be living in my basement this coming weekend or next. 2004 DRZ400S with 672 miles on the clock. Showroom condition and a fair price for both parties involved. The only problem is that poor ole' Nuts is gonna have to drive 12 hours round trip to pick it up for me .
