This post: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=290431&post=1021215#POST1021215 said that SUBURBAN HD/BUELL in Thiensville, Wisconsin should have gotten their first bikes yesterday (December 3). Seems like someone in the area would have one by now, or does the distribution system require the bikes to be shipped somewhere else first? |

I'm going to call Suburban this morning and check. If they go theirs, I'll run over and take some pics |

I thought there was another thread where Court or Anony said everything had to go to York before being redirected to the final destinations? Can't find the thread, but am pretty sure that's what was stated. |

Ponti is correct. Buell (and I'm 99% sure about this) doesn't distribute their bikes. They truck them to York, where they are unloaded and re-trucked for distribution by the HD drivers. Which means the first 2 trucks *might* have missed the weather they've been getting up there, and the bikes are sitting in York waiting for the trucks to get filled the rest of the way up with HDs so they can start their runs. We've got 2 bikes that have shipped from ET. One left 11/28, one on 11/30. I'd be surprised if I see them here by this weekend given all the logistics...but I've been wrong before! |

>>>I thought there was another thread where Court or Anony said everything had to go to York before being redirected to the final destinations? That ONLY applies to bikes destined East of the Mississippi. ((That information MAY be dated - I've been out of the loop on that for a while)) |

Court - I'm pretty sure you're right, at least for the East. All our Buells show up on York trucks here in MD. Do they run trucks out of KC? Maybe the left half of the country gets 'em on their trucks, with the XLs? |

>left half is common carrier direct. Cool, since I live east of the Miss, but the dealer is west... Bad news is annony's post that all dealers w/ orders will get one before any gets 2 - since I'm second in line!! |
