Is the 08 flyscreen and screen mounting points and pins the same as the 06 and 07 so you can order a screen that says it's for an 06/07 and it will work? Which is better, the Zero Gravity Sport Tour +4 screen or the AmericanSportBike +3.5 screen? Who makes the AmericanSportBike screen? Background ... 5' 10", 31" inseam Thanks. (I really did search all the archives and have read every last post on screens.) |

Gatlinburger, I'm pretty sure the 08 has the same mounting points. The AmericanSpoortBike 3.5 screen is in fact a Zero Gravity touring screen. I called them up and asked before I ordered it for my '07 to see which brand it was. I got mine today, and just got back from "testing" it. So far so good. I'm 5'9", 31" inseam. |

Pardon me sir, but that would be Barn door! |

Since you can't see through a barn door, I thought storm door was more appropriate ! |

I happen to be applying a modification to it right now and I will be installing it tomorrow. Orangeulius, Gotj, a couple others and I rode Sunday and it got mighty cold when the sun went down. Those without electric gear said that it was more than mighty cold! At least that is what I thought they said through chattering teeth! Electric Gear and a barn door to hide behind, I'll be ready for the cold soon. |

Gatlinburger, I didn't mean to hijack your thread, sorry. We may need to hook up for a ride. My moniker, etennuly should have been set up as E.Tenn.Uly. Then you might have guessed that I am right up the road from you. Did you get your bike at Smoky Mountain HD Maryville? There are several of us in the area and we often get together for Saturday rides. Feel free to PM me. This is by chance, an AARP qualified Uly riding group. |

Etennuly, Got our Uly at Ft. Lauderdale HD/Buell down here in S. Florida. While we've sold our house in WPB and have purchased our new (to us) home in Gatlinburg, it'll be several years before we'll be up there permanently. Something about receiving a paycheck that's just so hard to give up. We're coming up every month and a half with a full truck and motorcycle trailer full of furniture. |

" Uly1080 ... I got mine today, and just got back from "testing" it. So far so good. I'm 5'9", 31" inseam." I'd very much be interested in further comments as you test it comparing it to the stock screen. Thanks. Steve |

I rode most of the summer with the original (revision a) buell tall ws. I finally got tired of the helmet buffetting and switched back to the stock shorty. I put on the new buell tall today (revision b). It doesn't have the lip and creates much less turbulence. Gotj and I rode out to Tellico Plains to get a camera mount for my Uly. Speeds were up to 70 mph and the new screen worked well. FYI it does require 2 screws on the lower mounting points. Although it comes with all the mounting hardware, mine was missing the screws. I used the ones from my old screen. It is very similar to Gotj's zero gravity. |

The screens at California Scientific look interesting. www.calsci.com I just saw an ad for them yesterday in Motorcyclist. |

+1 on the Buell screen. Got mine on today for a short ride. Takes alot of the shoulders with little buffetting. Might ride to Tellico tomorrow to check out Mike's Olympia gear. |

Orangeulius, think you might be able to post pix of the two tall Buell shields side by side? I'm confused now, I have the post-recall Tall bought a year ago, is there another one? |

Bearly, I'm down in Southwest VA near Blacksburg. As far as the ZG Touring Screen...it cuts down quite a bit of the wind that was hitting my chest and shoulders therefore a bit warmer, but the helmet buffeting seems much worse to me. Earplugs are almost necessary for a long ride with the taller screen IMO. |

XBimmer. Gotj and I made a video comparing the rev a rev b and zero gravity. Will try and post tomorrow. |
