Farve has finally beat Kansas after a 16 year's with the Packers. He now can say he has beat all 31 NFL teams. Jenning's did it again and caught a 60 yard pass for a TD.... he is been Farves go to man. Things are really looking good this year. It was a damn close game and it did what I thought it was going to be after the first quarter..... down to the last minutes on who was going to win the game. |

Its been a tough couple of weeks for the Pack, and it doesnt get much easier. Next they have to stop the phenom Adrian Peterson, and the Lions on Thanksgiving dont look like a push over either. I love watching the season Brett is having, and how great the defense is playing. But seeing Favre throw the deep pass like the Brett of old, thats incredible. Its a great time to be a Packer fan. |

So far it looks like the Packers have been GB's toughest opponent They are playing well, but the penalties and mistakes shroud their success. I'm very optimistic about the MN game, but then this was my take when the Bears came to Lambeau the last time. Vikings are weak against the pass, and this is obviously the Pack's advantage. We did a pretty good job stopping Peterson's run in the past, so again I'm pretty optimistic. GO PACK GO! |

"We did a pretty good job stopping Peterson's run in the past, so again I'm pretty optimistic." Haha, considering he had 100 yards in the first half and then only touched the ball 2-3 times in the second half. Childress shut down AP not the Packers. |

See you cheeseheads and grand dad Favre on Thanksgiving. we have a new weapon on the lions to make favre pay for one of his infamous interceptions, that is of course if they don't knock him out of the game like they did to Cutler.

I wouldn't get to excited about it if I was you. I'm a Packer fan but I'm not gonna just Blab and say a bunch of crap about Detroit. As far as Grand Dad ??? Favre is still producing a top notch game. He is still doing what the young guns wish they were. The guy is still breaking records into a 17 year stint in the NFL....Grand Dad how original. Bad, I am also a Lions fan, and as you know that is a difficult undertaking. You remember all the other failures we have had over the years? Lets not say anything until this season is over. Hold your breath, maybe this year will be different from the last 50 years. Green Bay has nothing to prove. Maybe fire Millen |

Exactly Bikerjim99. Detroit is not going to be just a easy game. I hope we come out on top. But I'm taking one game at a time. The Vikings next. |

farve doesn't have a good history in detroit, either building. talking smack is part of the fun of football, esp when you have a good team. thanksgiving will be fun this year. |

Favre didn't have a history at all with Kansas....He had never beat them till now. Talking Smack is part of Football ?? Your smack to me doesn't make sense because you don't have facts behind it. Packers are 7 and 1 right now. Whats Detroit??? As far as talking Smack I run a Bar... The Boiler Room. I have 80 to 100 Jaw flapping smack every weekend.LOL (Message edited by bads1 on November 07, 2007) |

no facts, huh? fact 1. Favre is old. did i say he wasn't doing well? NO, i did NOT. just took a jab at his age. fact 2. he has had some pretty rough outings in detroit over his career. fact 3. the lions lead the league take aways. fact 4. the lions record is 6-2. 2 of their 6 wins were against the only team the pack lost to, Da Bears. fact 5. I'm not impressed that you run a bar or anything else. |

I'm afraid that the Lions will be calling Favre "Daddy" after that game. |

Fact 1. Favre is still ranked one of the best despite his age. 2.Yes they have had tough outing's with detroit but have beaten several times as well. 3. That doesn't mean everything.... that doesn't mean they will win...are recievers are much more seasoned. 4. So your one game behind us. And the Bears being how terrible they are this year will always play there hardest against the pack... we are there biggest rival's and I believe that win for them meant alot. 5. I don't want to impress you by me running a bar. I'm just pointing out that I hear bull crap by seasoned Bull Shitter's so you couldn't possibly bother me. 6. You still have no stats or facts that support the lion's will win. They could.... they may not. The cards will fall where they may. (Message edited by bads1 on November 07, 2007) |

if i had "facts that support the lion's will win" i would be a wealthy man. at what point did i say the lions would win anyway? All i said was thanksgiving will be fun this year, as in a good game. Brett can have sexual relations with the bears if he wants, but the lions prefer to beat them, repeatedly. |

Both your post's reply that in a round about way. Like I said it's not going to be a easy game for either team. My take on what I think it'll be is a down to the wire game. |

I must say that I normally can not stand the Vikings - but they were pretty hospitable when Favre threw 421. Packers= Number 2 in the league for passing Purple People Eaters= Number 30 in pass defense Packers= Number 8 in the league for rushing defense (although Diego WAS #7) No doubt Peterson will punish those who give him opportunity. I'm still confident Favre will pick apart the Viking's secondary, we'll keep Peterson >5 yards per carry, and the Pack for the win by 10. I'll check back after Sunday's game for public scrutiny if I'm wrong... Like the KC fan, you can all give me the bird if I'm wrong |

GB just needs to stop the run, as the vikes passing offense is on a beach somewhere with warren moon. force the vikes to beat you with the pass and you'll win. 8 or 9 men in the box to stop the run, dare them to throw it. |
