I know that a lot of you don't see a point in one but I have been looking for one and can't find one that is a good fit on a 06 xb12r. I just like seeing what gear I'm in. Does any one have a brand that they like.

I got a Veypor VR2, my favorite function is the gear indicator

Thanks froggy. It was interesting how it finds what gear you are in. So unlike installing one on a busa, like i have done. there is no take down of any part of the motor. its really smart. thanks again guys.

The Veypor works by using a speed sensor mounted on the wheel, and a tach sensor tied into the ignition coil. From there you go riding to program gear ratios, and it figures out what gear your in from there.

The 09 1125's have one built into the display : )
