I've been lusting after Blasts (ok quit laughing, you have to start somewhere...) for the past 6 months. I now have both my Vespa GT200L and my Honda CB450SC up for sale so I can fund a Blast. Crums, I wish people would quit using the recession for not buying mine right now. I have three Blasts that I am looking at!

The BLAST will be a perfect replacement for those two. It will handle better, the brakes will be infinitely better and you will feel much more confident.

Keep us posted.

Not sure how much those bikes will fetch you, but keep your eyes peeled on a used Blast. I picked up an 03 with 1500 miles for $1500. It sat for a few years so the carb was gunked up and it ran like crap. I haven't even done a thing to it, I just rode it like I stole it, now its almost good as new. Still, for the price it can't be beat, and the 85mpg and cheap tire changes are nice too! : )
