Proud owner of a '97 M2 Cyclone AND an S1 Lightning! One's not enough for THIS girl!! I'm a new rider on the road in the southeast... you'll find me in Charleston, SC, Pensacola and Sarasota, FL, and New Orleans over the next couple of months. Would love to ride!!! And to think I was afraid of turning 30!!

Wow, I finally did it. I bought a Buell. I've been looking at these things for years, but being the "detail oriented" kind of a guy that I am, I always lost the desire when I got close enough to touch one. To those that hold their Buells close to their heart, I mean no offense! It's the raw finish, unique design and simplistic engineering that makes the Buells appeal to my soul. Each one is a lump of clay waiting to be molded into rolling art, the artist is the owner. That's how I see my S1, a machine that gives me a chance to show off my personality. It's not fast, it's not plush and it sure ain't what I would call refined, but it is a bike that makes me smile when I throw a leg over it. And most of the time, I'm still smilin' when I get back off.

Welcome Mike D, You have got it. For me the simplicity and its sturdiness is the ultimate refinement.
Still smiling at the end of the ride, that`s it.
You will not be disappointed.
Ride&Smile.

My first Buell is a 2000 M2. Rode 4,200 miles on it in '00. I have been into cars, bikes, aircraft, sailboats, etc. for 50 years. Nothing has ever stirred me like this Cyclone!

I am a Minnesota guy, so riding here is April thru October. Last season got me 12,000 miles on 2 wheels (some on 1), Buell and my Springer (also a great ride). I am always looking for rides within a couple hundred miles of Minneapolis, or how about a New Zealand trip? As self-employed business lawyer, I often can re-arrange things to get loose.
