A huge welcome to all of you . . . . I've been riding Buells for 20 years and it's more exciting now than it was in the 80's.

You'll find folks here from around the world eager and ready to help you enjoy and maintain your Buell.

This is likely the single most reliable place for information and you'll meet a bunch of nice folks who share your passion along the way.

Have fun!

Hi Folks. I am waiting for my tax Stimulus check for a down payment on a new 07 XB12S in translucent red. It will be my first sport bike. I just sold a Harley Road Glide. I have had many bikes but never a sport bike.
I was referred to this site by a member I met today. I didnt catch his name. I was at a Can am Spyder demo ride at Barnies in St Pete and I saw a guy on a firebolt and his wife on a Blast. I approached him to ask about his bike and how he likes it and he told me about this site. Anyhow, Im known on many of the Harley boards. Ive been banned from most of them : ) Now that I dont own a Harley anymore I figured I would look for a home on a Buell board. This place looks like a good place to start.

I'm a girl that has ridden on the back of my dad's bikes all my life, but now I finally ride my own - an '01 Blast. I love this bike! I've also enjoyed reading the info in your discussions. Can't wait to learn more from you!

I heard good stuff about this site on my v-rod forum and just saying Hello. My current ride is a night rod special...I love it and will never sell it, but I've always loved buells and will park one next to the rod someday very soon. I didn't want to register until I actually owned a buell, but I was looking in the classifieds and found a beautiful cyclone that was about to be chopped(this is so tragic that I had to post now)and why not say Hi in the process.

Me and my 2002 Thunderbolt S3T. Not pictured are the tank bag, tail bag and the luggage that come with the bike. Also nice dual perimeter braking system, forcewinder intake and White Brothers' header itn't it.

This is why I love owning a Buell. It involves great bikes & great people(different in every sense!) I sure am glad I found this site. I am on my 3rd S2 Thunderbolt, & it seems to only get better. Guess the 3rd time is a charm. Spring is coming fast, so lets get out and ride!!!!

M_lu_do,
Suggestion, based upon years of experience of being the subject of dorky looking photos myself, unless you are young and female, always stand behind the bike for any photographs. joker

Hi everybody...new member here. Third week of owning a "new to me" 2006 Blast..bought it for commuting...what a great lil bike!! Good brakes, handles decent...has plenty of power for commuting...about on par with my old modded XL350 Honda cafe bike The question is how long I can keep the performance demons at bay...my first ever Harley product.

Hey all! I have been lurking here for quite some time and figured it was time to say hello. I am just returning to riding after about 15+ years. Searched long and hard to decide what bike would be right for me. I have to admit, lurking around BadWeb pushed me over the edge and I went out and bought a 2008 STT back in December. I just came back from a ride and had to tell everyone that, THIS THING IS JUST TOO MUCH FUN!!

>>>THIS THING IS JUST TOO MUCH FUN!!

. . . right you are and I've good news. . . it gets more fun the more you ride and the more Buell owners you meet.

The STT is a gifted piece of motorcycling that uniquely captures the very essence of riding, at least the way I recall it when it first captivated me. . . . it makes a perfect "comeback" bike.

We're thrilled to have all the new folks here. During the span of my Buell ownership I've seen the number of Buell owners go from less than 50 worldwide to today with something on the order of 15,000 interesting folks here on Badweb.

You've tuned your dial to the most definitive source of Buell news, excitement and adventure. You could not have arrived on a better vehicle than the STT.

Hi All!

Getting more excited by the minute for my new 25R! I live in Boston and am planning on relocating to Houston's Energy Corridor in the very near future. Would love to get out with other Buellers soon.

Best,

Boomer

well last weekend I innocently walk in to my HD dealer to to pick up an oil filter for my '01 sportster, and on my way to the parts desk, there is this really fugly bike sitting on one of those bike pedestal things... anyway, I go get my filter, and stop and look at those goofy pods on the side of this strange but compelling bike... so somehow the bike ended up following me home and I am now the proud owner of a new 1125R... but I have some questions:
A) why doesn't it have an owners manual? don't bikes come with those anymore? or did my dealer jip me?
B) whats up with all these questions about the mirrors vibrating? I keep having to look at the gauges to make sure its running, the sporty will make my eyeballs vibrate at a light (not sure how to describe that really...), but this 1125 is really smooth...
C) are there any good after market exhausts yet?
D) how exactly do you ride this thing comfortably? its quite a bit different then what I am used to... are there forward controls available for the 1125?

anyway, it really is a great bike, very odd looking, but still fun to ride... not so good in the mud though...

Just got done riding around Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA. Joplin Rd is made for my '02 X1. There are some little peaks that you hit in 3rd and wheelie all the way down the backside just by sheer torque. Can't wait to get back to Palomar Mt with this X1.

Noob Uly owner and member signing in. Just picked up my XB12XT last week and loving it so far. Best bike I've ever ridden. Can't wait till the truck trails in the hills clear of snow....

Put in about 300 miles in four riding days so far, mostly after work rides. Already preplanning some trips for this summer.

Cheers
