Brett, we'll be launching from the 'Dome about 8 a.m. on Saturday.

breakfast is at the Crazy Horse Restaurant and Saloon in Glennville, on Hwy 155, at about 8:45-ish.

can't miss the place, right on 155 on the Lake Isabella end of town, phone #661/536-8114.

they don't normally open 'til 11:30, so if you get there before we do and need coffee, etc., and find the doors locked, look pitiful and tell Judy you're with Oktoberfast.

see you Sat, ride safe. : )

the weather has recovered nicely (got our butts kicked last night), with a whole bunch of severe clear today.

still cool, and a little damp, but should be bitchin' by Friday.

the parks, with this recent weather, should be absolutely stunning.

Victor 1 and hummer holes, Oktoberfast is in the air. : )

"these 90 miles between Lake Isabella and Springville - some of the most magnificently twisted pavement on this or any planet" - MOTORCYCLIST, October 2005

Hey, we should try to work some of that pavement into the Oktoberfast route!

Btw, the Ponderosa Lodge is for sale. Maybe we ought to buy it and use it as Oktoberfast Central. We could even install some hummer holes, if need be.

She sold it and moved to Oregon...Built this great big 5,000 sq ft home up in the Coburg Hills north of Eugene, OR.

A friend of mine hooked up with her while he was in high school, had a couple of kids togeher then booted his butt out.

Ferris...funny, I was just thinking about Sandblast..have not seen or heard from him since Laguna Seca. I called Viros tonight, but no answer.

For those in the Los Angeles area, myself and T-Bear will be heading up on Friday AM from the Shell Station at the base of Angeles Crest Hwy. (near the 2/134 Interchange). I put together a little route that will use mostly back roads. Call me at 310-428-3393 if U care to join us. I will set a time and post it here Thursday AM...will meet E-Bear tomorrow night to work out the final meet times.

Got new tires, new oil, new spark plugs and a clean chain...I am set! See ya D and F on Friday!
