Check out this cooly story... "...enter eMachineShop.com, an amazingly rad combination of software and sweat, which allows you to design a part in a CAD-like program and then send it over the internet to a real machine shop where, given that it's something feasible to create (and the software helps you determine that), a team of 17 machinists will craft your part, bundle it up, and send it back to you via post. The turn around is about 30 days..." http://www.gizmodo.com/archives/emachineshop-obviates-your-greasy-cousin-020145. php See story and follow links to the site - they even provide the CAD software gratis. |

Sir Bomber....speaking of your "shop".....I think I need your help. My "do-it-yourself" fix for my sloppy throttle cables is failing me. Do you think you can fab something? How can I get you a picture of what I'm thinking about for a fix? Would you be able to get it done in about 4 weeks (before October track day)? Thanks! Mennis |

mennis -- yessir, I can -- er, email? snail mail? heliography? yessir, since what I think you need is pretty simple -- gimme dimensions, and preferred material (I'm thinkin brass) -- you got the email, if memory serves |
