How about helping me out here. How much will the 500 mile set me back in $$$ amounts? I figure $150 -$200, is this right. BTW model is X1, 2002.
Time to terrorize the town, no more breaking in under 3,000 RPM's. Obnoxious piles of rice, beware..

Change your own oil/filter and tranny fluid and save yourself the hassle and money. Plus get to know your bike a little better. :)

PS: Obnoxious piles of rice will flat out eat your X1's lunch. You bought the wrong bike if you are wanting to be the fastest bike on the block.

That was actually a little joke I put there, I reffered a friend to this site, and he rides an import, but is considering a Buell. I wanted to bust his chops a little bit. I already learned what an R1 can do to me, talk about embarrassing.

Gotcha, and of course you can always fit a race exhaust system and blow his eardrums out at each stop light. Talk about "obnoxious".

Spider,
You must be riding with some really bad riders if you can beat 929s and ZX9s with your Buell!! Maybe for the first 500 feet!!

I got into some roll-ons on the highway with a 996 and got the jump on him every time without shifting down.

He didn't start walking me down till about 100mph.

He was way gone after that though...

Save your money and buy a service manual and do the 500 mile service by yourself.
