Hello all,

I have a set of Buell pro series plug wires that are for my 2000 m2. It looks like the stock wires are way longer then these. The pro series wires look to be way short and have the 90 degree boots on them all the way around. The boots on the stock wires are different. One wire has the straight boot and it runs over the rocker boxes and up. It looks to be to long to me. Also, could I run a set of pro series wires that are made for an X1\S3 on my M2? Those are longer then the M2 pro series wires but shorter then my stock wires. I know stupid questions here.

Regards

Mike

I believe the wires for the FI bikes (X1 and S3) are different than the ones for the M2. If I recall, the Buell catalog has one part number listed for the FIs and one for the M2. I know that the wires for the X1 have a different (smaller, I believe) connector on the end that fits into the ignition box. Check and see if either set will work on your ignition. I don't have my bike here with me, so I can't tell you anything about the boots.
Hope this helps.
Alex
