I was looking into getting different brakes for my Lightning. Will the front struts off a XB9 fit on a tube frame Lightning? Do the wheels fit? Thanks for any info!! |

hello Teofan, look in the knowldege vault in suspension topic and you will see what joe perry did to the front end of his drag bike. to do the rear wheel you have to make up spacers for the XB axle, and there is a sprocket offset to consider as well. i have a set of xb whls i'm measuring to fit up as well. but yes IMHO and YMMV and caveat emptor but, i'm sure they can fit up. |

Teofan, what Donn said...also on the frontend the XB tubes are a straight bolt in to your lightning trees. You will however need the complete front end..tubes,wheel, axle, caliper and rotor for it to work..also your ride heighth will be approx. 2in shorter in the front as the XB tubes are that much shorter than your lightnings... |
