Author Message   Buellfart Posted on Monday, January 26, 2009 - 01:54 pm:        Going over the fuel system recently, including the tank vent- I assume that when this thing is removed and held sideways, horizontal, that one should not be able to blow or suck through it- the purpose is to block venting when bike is tipped over. Many of us install an aftermarket moto-X type vent. Silly simple and it's all there on top of the tank. (I'll see if I can find pics)
