it's in the low 20s (F) and windy in Chicago today

winter is tolerable round here for 2 reasons:

1. time to work on your scoot (I know, I'm reaching here) and
2. no construction

(and also, girls in sweaters)

they are pouring concrete at a construction site across from my workplace -- one of our mainteneance guys told me that the contrete industry has perfected a mix that can be worked down to about 0 degrees F . . . .. meining that we can now enjoy road construction 11.5 months a year!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh

hey, ferris, you wanna hire a writing/training manager?

Man I miss Chicago. I lived right off Montrose Harbor, and used to ride my bike to the Loop every day to work and back, taking the lakefront path. Was always fun to traverse the ice-flows that formed from waves crashing over the path.
Of course, with the new concrete it eliminates the second season in Chi - instead of winter and construction, it's just construction :)

This is the only time I miss living in northern Il. Used to go up to northern WI with the sled and ride the groomed trails with no wire strung across em. God I miss that, not much use for the ole polaris in TEXAS!
