Cool, I'll have to stop by the mag shop and see if I can find it. Did they like it? My celebration was staying up to hear him speak. The man does a really fine speech, now comes the hard part. Let's all hope he does a good job. | ||

Dave - Yes, I would say they liked it. It was shown in the section of the magazine that features "new" moto related items. By the way...speaking of moto mags...I like to read a lot of them. Many of them, throughout the year 2008, have had articles on Buell being 25 years old. However, I cannot recall Cycle World ever doing an article on this milestone. Did I miss that one, or have they really not mentioned it yet? I kinda figured with Steve Anderson having worked there, an in depth story would be made. | ||

Cycle World did not do anything. I was so busy gettign the book out that I never got around to offering them a story which is too bad, they might have paid me | ||

BTW- the new book is reviewed in Thunder Press, which is mainly a H-D biker rag. Unlike most of the biker "magazines" I see, TP actually has some decent prose and some good writers. Congrats- I'll be getting mine before too long. | ||

Some guy named Canfield used to do an article on Buells in each issue of Thunder Press, back before Reg Kittrelle sold the mag. | ||

Reg KItrelle...Now, there's a man I really want to put some laid-back canyon carving in with. Court, Dave: HUGE congrats, you guys deserve it. I'm ordering a copy of the book, tonight, I hope to get Court's inscription shortly thereafter, and if there's some way I can Dave's at some point in the future, that would be cool, too. can't wait to gett he book. | ||

I got the book last weekend from hastings (they had to special order it for me) ad as soon as I picked it up I read it from cover to cover and I must say that was one dang fine book and I learned alot about the motorcycle company that I love so much. Thank you Dave and court for making such a awsome book. If yall ever make another book I would be in line to buy that one too. |
