Hello,

I have been scarce. We have excellent news up here in this part of the USA!!! The Sokaogon Chippewa and Forest County Potawotami have purchased the Nicolet Minerals Company, including over 5,000 acres that now belong to these two Native American Tribes. We have been celebrating this hard won battle!

Victory

Pleas see the following link for a summary of the press coverage... hope I still have a job for years to come! A fairy tale ending...

Yes excelant news. That dam mine idea has been hanging on forever. I am sure many of the Chambers of Commerce are not happy however but than they need to put a dollar amount on everything and I don't think you can really do that to the sound of an eagle calling.

Outstanding...Congratutalions on a fine victory!

Most interesting and commendable is that proceeds from the casino operations were used to resolve the problem.

Keep up the good work!!!

Yeah,

Pretty interesting story. I am hoping this entire saga will be a good boost to the tourism economy up here. People have been following this from all over Australia and the UK and other corners of the globe.

It is as if a huge hush has fallen over the forest and a big cloud has left the area. Check out this new website... for more on who my employers are.
