I'm always against trailering, EXCEPT when going to a track event. By the end of the thing I'm so drained I just want to sit in the luxury that is my huge ford van and cruise control my way home.

Checked in the travel lodge... I'll be in the older silver Saab 9-3 with the trailer, and Bob brought a shelter... and I have tools, so if anyone needs anything give us a shout.

You can tell its a Buell track day, because there was a big line of Hondas in trailers on I-71 on the way over : )

Ceejay, no prob i wish i would have been there a little sooner. maybe would have saved you a gallon of sweat...

what a great day. went thru 2 sets of knee pucks. got to ride the 1125CR.

it does look better in person. but i still think it needs a different rear end.

Great time! Working with the novice group riders, I must say you guys took all the instruction well and hope you all had a great experience. Saw a tremendous amount of improvement from the first session to the last.

30.4! That's how many miles you can go on the reserve light. Of course that's with the first 15.8 being on the track, so I'd imagine that you could get at least five more miles on reserve before running dry with normal riding. The bike starting cutting out at clancyville?-the small town right off of 71 but I figured I could coast to the gas station-I made it to about a mile away...Pushing a 400 lb bike in full gear ain't much fun: ) JimiD stopped and asked if I needed help, but we were only about 400 yds from the station so it was just easier to finish the job. One more reason why I may stop the riding to trackdays.
The time was ahelluvalotta fun despite the push at the end, and seemed a little more structured for us novice guys. Big thanks to all the instructors(Nuke!), Buell and STT guys. Way fun and well run...
I'm very sore today. I played four years of college football for a Div II school-Go Pumas!, and that seemed to be about the same amount of exersion, just spread out over 8 hrs. I'm still somewhat in disbelief in regards to everytime I'd get off the bike after a session in the afternoon my legs would be shaking from all the work...

I can't imagine trying to push the bike any further then the trailer after that full day... Wow. You get the official "iron man" award for the day : )

What a great time again this year. The day was a bit more structured for the novice then last year but was still great. My 1 session was a little slow and then I rode demos the rest of the day until the last session and then went back out on my bike. Riding the demos all day really brings out the low points, like the foot pegs, shift, break leavers of my S3. They all spent most of the last session grinding away on the track. Acutely coming out of Thunder Valley the track decided to shift my bike out of gear. The demos are a great opportunity to put the Buells through a good hard run and see how they feel and all I can say is they are great fun bikes to ride. The 1125CR was a great bike but that 1125R just grows on me each time I get to give it a go. It has smooth usable power all over the place and never told me NO. Even the Firebolt never ran out of power for me. I find it hard to believe anyone could write a bad review of these bikes. They take beating after beating, session after session, and keep coming back for more.

Thanks to BUELL for making it possible for me to get on the track and for letting us ride the hell out of your bikes. Thanks to STT for providing us with a good organized day and Mid Ohio for a great track.

Again thanks to Buell!!! Without you I would still be trying to figure out how to get my sportster to handle like my S3. Also the inside pass program that allowed me to get on the track for my first and now second time, I would never know my bike the way I do without this opportunity. And for keeping the Demo program alive for not only us owners but everyone that gets intrigued by a commercial or someone comments, and allowing them to really see what Buell is all about.

Well Done!

Anybody else have problems with the website for the pictures? They were handing out the business cards all day, but they say:

Find your photos at
Buell.com/insidepass
Fotos by Fonzie

Well that link does take me anywhere... I think it's supposed to be here:

You would think they would just redirect the url listed on the nice glossy business cards to go to the correct site for the pics.

Still waiting.

i am sure it will take him some time to sort thru all of the pics he took. he probably took several hundred if not a 1000 pics that day. then he has to dump them in to his computer compress them ad the sponsors logos then sort them by class then finally upload them to the web.
they should be up in a couple of day's don't worry.
