Better order a couple new rear tires if you going to ride like that.

There were several kids in my neighborhood growing up and that's how we rounded corners all the time. Back when they actually put tar on the roads it would get good and hot on a summer day and locking the brakes up would make impressive skid marks. The skinny 10 speed tires would go the longest. Yes, they only went up to ten back then, and had ram horn handle bars.

When someone was feeling really tough they ride past a group of kids and dare them to throw a stick through their spokes...ahhh youth really is wasted on the young (and stupid).

Huh, that's all we did as kids. As a kid my "big" brother worked at a gas station and we used to use the water hose at the pumps and wet down the smooth pavement by the pumps and then pitch them babies sideways speedway style, for hours.
Ahh, good times

We use to use the silt (light sand, dirt, etc) that accumulates near storm drains and see who could slide the farthest sideways.

After my dad got tired of truing wheels, he showed me how...

That is how I broke the wheels on every Green Machine I ever had. Used to steal the fresh ones off of big Wheels to get mine back on the road.
I wish they made that for adults, with alloy construction and more durable rubber tires. I would rock the hell out of that

check that looks like they did update it...

WOW! Greatly improved from the original model I had 30-ish years ago... I think the only metal on it was the pedal shafts, LOL (nice touch with the "chrome" exhaust tips)
