On June 22nd, 2006 I traded my Road King for my Uly.

I can safely say that it was the best choice I have ever made when it comes to my daily rider.
I spent the last few hours doing a little PM on the bike. Gotta get is cleaned up and ready to take it back to East Troy in a few days.

I have met some of the best people because of that bike and most of them are on BadWeb.
Only 2 things have went wrong with it, that I can think of.... belt broke at 9200 miles and the bearings went bye bye on my way home from MB5 with about 25000 miles on the clock.

After a few months of buying the Uly I went back to the dealer and bought a Firebolt.... Let the track days begin!

Now if I can just get a 1125R..... and a Buell dirt bike....

I gotta say my ole S2T's been the best daily rider I've had.
Very well-rounded utili-scoot, this old tuber.

# 2 would have to be the '86 ZX9 I hammered around The Bay Area on for a year....

You must have a long riding season where ever you live. 13,000+ miles a year is impressive, at least to me. Up here, October till late April is a no show for pussies like me. Tire chains and a snow blade up front might help..heh.. Anyhow, keep it rolling

Wolf, I got mine May 5,'06 and now have 27,600 miles on it. Ditto all that stuff about BadWeB. I met you at MBIV, my first camping outing on the Uly. Then there was that 'special' fun at Homecoming 24, and then MBV. A couple of Buelltoberfests' too.

Even the Douche Canoe's are more fun on a Buell! Few things in life lead you to a good number of people one could call true friends. My Buell's have

'til we meet again!

13+ miles a year should be normal for a single machine.

20+ a year is standard for many riders, as well, even in cold, snowy states.

Most "M/C"club riders log on a minimum 20K+ /year, but that's a distinct subset where the scoot is central to the lifestyle.

many roadracers & tracksters log 'em on tall, but don't always have sinlgular odos to show it.

I should add the miles from the race bike and all the laps I do in the parking lot teaching MSF/Riders Edge
