I just test rode the 1125r @ Liberty Buell. IMO: 1125r is way too rough at the bottom and gave me whiplash and motion sickness and right-toe burn. I'm not good enough to ride it anywhere near it's potential. GL to those that have it. I'll stick with my Firebolt. Liberty Buell/HD is AWESOME. I'll be going on their track day. Bergen HD is not Buell friendly and the don't even have 1125r's to demo. They also charge $50 to swap a rear that's already off the bike (same price as a two tire change with the wheels still attached). I'll never go back there. |

Did you buy the tire from them? If not, thats a reasonable price since they made nothing on the tire. If you didn't like the price I guess you should have asked first. Better yet if you are mechanically inclined enough to get the wheels off the bike buy a set of tire irons and do them yourself for free. I'd sure like to know where you can get two tires on the bike flipped for fifty smackers, they must pay their help minimum wage. |

I have only had good experiences at bergen. They are buell friendly and many of them ride Buells. They have bike runs BBQs and bands there almost every weekend. |

Poor Bergen HD/Buell. In any other geographic location a Buell owner would consider themselves lucky to have them. But they are in relatively close proximity to the awesome folks at Liberty who seem to attract a customer base that spans more than a few states and put that extra little something into their Buell effort. At the end of the day you can't go wrong with either place. This New York boy used to crack many a joke about our next store neighbor. Not any more, Kudos to the Garden State! |

<- Silly man went to youtube and learned how to change his tire by his lonesome. I'll still stick with Liberty. I'm not a older Harley guy, so I don't fit in at Bergen. And $50 for a 15 minute job is 200/hr. Not min wage. But GL to Bergen and all. (Message edited by clarkjw on June 10, 2008) |
