One day it's snow, the next the bugs are out thick as...well Flies!

On a 30 mile ride I had to stop and clean my visor twice and I wiped it four or five time between!

Anyone got any ideas on carrying cleaner.

After such a long winter, bugs on the visor is a nice problem to have.

Some people on BadWeb carry damp towels in a zip-loc bag. And at least one guy uses those hand-wipe things from KFC. I think I might try out the hand-wipes myself.

Stop by a drug store/Bed bath and beyond/military surplus and pick a small travel spray bottle.

Fill it with windex, and use a soft microfiber cloth.

I have a small (2oz) bottle that I can use while on the move. A few quick sprays, and wipe with the towel, all is well.

I have tried all sorts of "wet wipes" and even expensive camera len's cleaners. They all seem to smear bug guts.

Using anything other than a microfiber cloth will scratch your visor.

Buy the smallest can of pledge or other furmniture polish. Dissolves bugs and leaves a nice shine.

Some motorcycle accessory stores carry tiny 3 inch Plexus plastic cleaner, protectant & polish spray cans that are made to fit into a jacket pocket. It has a nozzle that locks so it won't spray accidentally. I think Cycle-Gear sells it.

I stopped by the local eyeglass shop and picked up a three inch metal spray bottle that I can fill with what I want, and it fits neatly under my seat. Local gas station supplies the 'blue towels'.
