I have an upcoming business meeting in Salt Lake at the first of May, and I am hoping to make into an epic Buell ride/vaction.

I plan on leaving Buffalo on 4/25 and burning down to west Texas, just as quick as possible. From there I am hoping to do some 400 miles a day while hitting several points of interest. This is where I was hoping some fellow Badwebbers could give some advice...

The "points of interest" that I am wanting to hit are; Southwest NM, Four Corners, the Grand Canyon, Vegas, Death Valley, Sequoia NP, and of course the northern stretch of the Pacific Coast highway. From there I was looking at running highway 50 east from Reno, NV to Hwy 93N, and then burn I-80 into SLC.

My question to you is this; what are some good roads that link those points? And, are there any stretches of highway on this general route that I have to concern myself with distances between gas stations? I hope to take the S2 (if I get it all back together in time) which depending on how hard its ran will get anywhere from 180-210 per tank. I have some ideas from looking map, but I figured what better way to get the scoop on the best roads than here...

So give me your ideas....

Thanks guys!
