Who here has experience with shipping a bike overseas, shipping companies, import ( which should not be a big deal since it is not a sale it is a personal item, in my name longer than 6 months and no intention of selling it in germany ),
insurance etc. etc.

I would appreciate any feedback I get and
say thanks in advance.

I shipped a '79 XLCH to Australia when I went there in '97. By the time I got done with all the chickensh*t fees for everything you can think of(Airfreight, customs fees, sales tax, etc.) and a LOT that I never imagined ($125.00 for some jerk to hold a decible meter 20" away from my muffler), I could have bought a new 1200 Sportster. It was an interesting experience, but I wouldn't do it again.
