I might be taking a job in Boston or some were near Boston until some time in June and I am thinking of taking my bike are their any good roads their? Is this a good idea or bad idea? I have never bin some I don't know what to expect

Boston itself is awful for bikes. western mass is great though.

Boston = too many cars and lights
Western and northern Mass, RI + NH = : )

(once they get all the sand and salt cleared, sometime in june)

New Hampshire is close with some great roads too. Come visit us over on NEBO, several guys from MA, RI and NH there....

we run the roads where RI, Ct, MA meet, Come ride with us and see if we have roads to ride!!!!!

Springtime. There are roads within an hour of Boston that will give you an ear splitting grin.
Definitely bring your bike.

some of us ride in the colder temps. I won't ride under 30 degrees, no heated gear.

Head south into Rhode Island. There is some really nice riding down that way. Might be a little too cold right now though!

Go west from Boston and there are plenty of roads. You can also take a day trip into Vermont where the roads are great. There are also some great short trips into CT with more great roads. I will take an occasional ride around Cambridge, which has some interesting sites and stops. Find your way to Moto Market in Acton on any weekend and you can hook up with other riders, just get route suggestions, or buy some gear.

When I was enlisted I was stationed at Fort Devens, MA ('83-'89). I usually ventured up to lower NH/VT. Awesome roads and just as awesome scenery. I really miss everything about New England. Definitely take your bike. You'll love it up there.

Prop maker. I will be welding this time i think. Not sure of which company this time last one was HBO. I travel a lot this is the first time I am will bring my bike with me. I think I will need heated hand grips.
