-10 this morning here. I was half tempted to go start the 1125r just so I could say I started it in the coldest temps yet. But, it was -10 out! |

Three months freezing temperatures, 3 months of riding, and 6 months of depression. The things I won't do to keep the northern border of our country safe from the invading Canadians. |

It's not so bad. Me and wifey like to get holed up once in awhile. Right now, the snow is coming down pretty good, but not cold enough to stick to the street. We live in the central part of NC, so my xb's battery always stays charged on its own. Spring is right around the corner. |

Ya, up here in the great white north(Canada), its winter for a long time. Im 90 miles inland from the Pacific and we quit riding in mid October and parkem till early April. It was so cold today that the exhibitionists were just hangin around the park describing themselves to passers-by. |

Winter story: I'm sitting with a couple of buddies in a bar in Montana. Its about 15 below zero outside. Truck driver comes in a sits on the bar stool next to me. Truck Driver: "Damn its cold out there! The fuel in my truck's all gelled up and I can't go nowhere 'til they thaw it out." Me: "Yeah its a little chilly." Truck Driver: "Chilly! Where'd you come from?" Me: "Iowa." Truck Driver: "Well no wonder! There ain't nothin' between Iowa and the North Pole but three stands of barb wire!" |

You've obviously been watching the news! The national pond hockey championship game is tomorrow afternoon on lake Nikomis. Nope, I seen it online. A guy up here is tryin g to organize a pond hockey tourney here. I tried to get a team together but other comitments and all. That and we only found out about it mid January and it is in the beggining of Febuary... |
